Our Story

Living in a body that doesn’t always cooperate changes everything. For eight years, I struggled with kidney failure—never knowing which emotion would come next, or how long I could keep pushing through. Those challenges, though, became the foundation of who I am today.
In 2017, my brother Kevin saved my life by donating his kidney without hesitation. That transplant gave me a new lease on life. Before that, I had only 10% kidney function, unpredictable mood swings, and constant pressure from people asking, “What’s next?” “Who are you working with?” In the music industry, you’re expected to always be at 100%, and when you’re not, it’s as if your success no longer counts.
Some people turned away when my health declined. I was called crazy, told I’d fallen off, and that my best years were behind me. But I’ve learned not to live by others’ definitions of “up” or “down.” Life is fragile and we can’t make permanent choices based on temporary emotions.
Feel what you need to feel. Hurt, heal, but never stay down.
I’m not one for long social posts, but I have to thank my brother Kevin for saving my life. When I asked if he’d donate a kidney, he said “of course” without even thinking. There aren’t enough words to describe that kind of love and sacrifice.
There’s a shift happening in the world right now. It’s not the time to be distracted or defeated. Claim what’s yours with peace and grace. To anyone pursuing what they truly love...I celebrate you. The act of doing it is enough.
I’m sharing my story to remind you that setbacks don’t end the journey. They redirect it toward what’s real, who’s real, and the deeper why behind it all.
It’s go time. Big things are coming.
